My "Game" begins.

Yes, dear blogga friends... I am one of the athletes for the National University Games 2009.

Though my game doesn't need that heavy training or etc., it's one of the most unique events of all.

YOuR friendly ecHoseRa has been to Central Philippine University (ows? long time no see! I've been busy with my farm and barn lately... not to mention my cafe & aquarium also, hehehe.) for the Opening of the UNIGAMES. It kicked of with the parade.

That's the most beautiful day for someone like me in the whole week (maybe so far!). Imagine seeing those... hmmm.... how will I introduce them... and the athletes and not to special mention the WAFU-WAFU ones from different universities around the country colliding on one event. hahahahaha! Collide? hmmm....

Let's not make the intro so long okay,... hahahaha! Let me share with you these POOR pics I got.

All hail to the UNIGamES opening parade that toured around CPU campus... haha..

For everybody's information, the first UNIGAMES officialy started in Bacolod City

and it is now on its 14th year. Mayor Jerry P. Trenas (Iloilo City) & Gov. Niel D. Tupas joins the parad towards the CPU Gymnasium.

Among the 51+ universities that is participating this year... here are some of them.

De La Salle - I'm not sure if they are from Bacolod or Dasma or Lipa...

but there are 4 De La Salle universities on my list.

Ateneo! Maybe Davao or Manila. Hahaha.

Assumption College

Emilio Aguinaldo College... Hmmm... they are really tall, as in.

and of course,.... the guys from University of Sto. Tomas. I really can't take my eyes off of them till the program ended. hahaha. THey really had the most number of SHUMIs (in the opening parade palang, syempre... I think marami pang discoveries soon, hahahha).

If I am correct, these guys in red are from Siliman University - last year's host university.

Friends of Enchong DEE is datchu????

and the Xavier University...

West Negros, I think.

THe ones in Black & Pink also had some noticeable shumiZ, they're from the University Immaculate Concepcion.

and Iloilo City's very own Tribu Paghidaet, the reigning champion in the past two years of the Dinagyang Festival gave an intermission number.
