MOnyeka Festival's 40 remaining nights

It has been a year of laughters.. a year of jokes.. and a year of dramas as well.. Now, i am bringing back the TRUST that once you have given me.. With all respect, I would like to ask for apology for all the things which are not ought to be done. PASENSYA NA TAO LANG, BAKLA PA!
In times like this I felt I was so blessed, i didnt even think of the fame because never in my entire stay on radio I considered myself popular. I was just once like you..

Although I was being humiliated yet you stood still to defend me..Now i know that being BEAUTIFUL is PAINFUL..Just kidding.. You continued to support my program all the way.. After all, i didnt ask for listeners, I just want to be understood. I may be rude and frank but I just to be straight, firm and honest..
Lastly, despite of humiliation and criticism I will keep my personality on radio and I promise you that I will still be the person the way you wanted me to be. I will always remain humble and thankful..
THANK YOU FOR ALL THAT WAS.. AND FOR ALL THAT WILL BE...,
With all love and care,
MAMA MONYEKA of 93.5 Campus Radio
After it celebrated its 3rd year anniversary last October 15, 2009 Monyeka Festival will be airing off in Iloilo & the nearby provinces' radiosphere. Known to most as the Mother of all Merci, the Queen of the Night and etc... Mama Monyeka has captivated the Ilonggo radio audience as her program is undisputed number 1. She was also recognized as the number 1 DJ in Iloilo City lately.

With her decision of taking another leap in her career, Varvin Hope Simone Hiñola has truly shocked a lot of people - most especially her friends and supporters.  But according to her, her decision is final and irrevocable, as her fans, supporters and friends, we can only wish her the best of luck in her chosen endeavors. We want you to know Mama Eka that we are just here behind you and that we will continue to support you all the way.

Among one of her numerous listeners and fans in TV and radio, I'm truly honored and very glad to have meet her personally and thus, we became friendships along with her "yayas", hehehe.

For me, she is one of my most-admired gay personalities whom I can really look up to.

Her sense of humor and talents will remain in our lives. What more can I say...? hmmm...

Let's just enjoy the 40 remaining nights of the mOnYeka Festival. I must admit that it really uplifts me whenever I needed to hear her voice and laught to death by her lines, ways and  her true personality.

Monyeka Festival is one of the best things that has happened to Iloilo's radio industry. No wonder that the overwhelming response of her audience will continue to support and love her.
